When installing an indoor LED display, the common method is to choose to buy the frame, module, cable, power supply, control card and other materials to assemble by yourself.

1. Frame

Make a structure based on the example of the existing small screen being made. Buy 4 pieces of 4*4 square steel and 4 pieces of 2*2 square steel (6 meters long) from the market. First use 4*4 square steel to make a T-frame (can be customized according to your own situation).

The size of the large frame is 4850mm*1970mm, because the size inside the small frame is the size of the screen, and the square steel is 40mm, so it is this size.

When welding, try to weld it into a 90-degree angle with a steel angle ruler. The medium size is not important. After the T-frame is completed, start welding small square steel on it. The internal size of the small square steel is 4810mm*1930mm, and the corners and the middle part are cut into small pieces with the remaining 4*4 square steel, and weld square stainless steel.

After the small frame is completed, start welding the back strip, measure the first two pieces with a plate, and weld all the way down after finding the size. The back is 40mm wide and about 1980mm long, as long as both ends can be welded. After welding, you can install the frame in the hall (according to the back). Make two angle steel hooks on the top of the wall.

2. Install the power supply, control card and module

After the bracket is hung, leave a gap of about 10mm around, because the indoor screen cannot be made into a box-type frame with a fan, and simply rely on this 10mm gap for ventilation.

When installing the power supply, first connect two finished power cables, and the 5V output must be carefully watched, otherwise the power cable, module and control card will be burned.

Each finished power cord has two connectors, so each power cord can carry four modules. Then, make a 220V connection between the power supplies. Just string each row together with 2.5 square soft copper wire, and each group of 220V power cables will be connected to the open circuit terminal of the distribution cabinet.

The cable from the distribution room to the LED display cabinet must be arranged before the screen is installed. After the power is turned on, install the control card. The control card here uses a synchronous receiving card. The layout of the entire power supply and control card, as well as the LED display screen, have power supply and system wiring diagrams from the factory. As long as you strictly refer to the wiring diagram, you will not make mistakes. Generally, engineers can also estimate the way of outputting the line according to the number of power supplies and cards.

3. Connection of receiving card and module

Here, each card has three rows of modules, with a total of 36 boards. In this way, one card is installed every three rows, and 5V is taken from the nearest power supply to power the card. Note that these five cards are connected with network cables, and the network port near the power connector is the input port.

The first card on the right is also the top card. The input is connected to the Gigabit network card of the computer, and then the output network port is connected to the input port of the second card, and the output port of the second card is connected to the input port of the third card, and so on to the fifth card, and the input is connected to the output of the fourth card. The output is empty.

Before installing the module, stainless steel edging is required, which is just for beauty and is also the requirement of the installation unit. I found a stainless steel master to measure the size. It is estimated that the steel structure will be enlarged by 5mm after measuring, so that the stainless steel edging can be blocked and easy to install.

4. Install the module

After tightening the stainless steel edge, the upper module can be opened. It is recommended to install the module from bottom to top, starting from the middle and installing to both sides. There is a lot of controversy about this installation method. The main purpose of installing from the bottom is to keep the horizontal and vertical levels within the normal control range. Especially after the screen area is large, it is easier to get out of control. In particular, the small spacing requirements are too high, and some gaps do not meet the requirements and need to be fine-tuned.

Engineers who install too small spacing know that even if the precision mold comes out of the module or box, there are still errors.

The misalignment of a few lines will cause the entire line to be misaligned. Secondly, installing from the middle to both sides can be divided into two or even four groups of people to work, saving installation time.

Even if you encounter the problem of installation misalignment, it will basically not affect the progress of another group of people.

Bring your own tools. If the cable is damaged, cut it again, just press the two ends, and then install the fixing clip.

Many times, because the back bar supports the uneven module, the line card should be cut off during installation. When the cable is inserted into the module, the red edge is facing up and the arrow of the module is also facing up.

If there is no module marked with an arrow, the printed words on the module must face up. The connection between modules is that the input in front of the module connects to the output behind the previous module.

5. Adjustment

After installing the four-wire module card, turn on the test power supply. Solve problems in time, because if you install the next set, this card will be covered and cannot be tested. In addition, if you continue to install, you cannot find problems in time. If you install all the modules, then find the problem point and remove the installed modules, the workload will be much greater.

There is a test button on the control card, which has just been powered on. You can use this method to test it first. If the installation is normal, the screen will display red, green, blue, line, field, and point information in sequence, and then test the control computer again, mainly to test whether the network cable is communicating normally. If normal, install the next set until the installation is complete.
