How to define small pitch LED display screen and its advantages?

We all know that LEDs are composed of LED lamp beads, and the distance between the center points of two LED lamp beads is called the dot pitch. 

The display industry generally adopts the method of defining product specifications based on the size of this distance, such as the commonly used P12, P10, P8 (dot pitches are 12mm, 10mm and 8mm respectively).

As the process progresses, the dot pitch becomes smaller and smaller. 

According to the consensus of the industry, a display screen with a dot pitch less than 3 mm is a small pitch. 

Among the displays currently mass-produced, the minimum dot pitch is P1.6, that is, the distance between the center points of the two lamp beads is only 1.6mm.

What are the advantages of small-pitch LED display screens?

1. Seamless splicing

Splicing large-screen display technology cannot avoid the influence of physical borders when meeting customer needs to the maximum extent. Even ultra-narrow-edge DID professional LCD screens still have very obvious splicing seams. 

Only LED display screens can make the splicing seams after splicing meet the seamless requirements, and the advantages of high-density small-pitch LED seamless splicing are highlighted.

2. High brightness and intelligent adjustment

The LED display has high brightness. In order to provide viewers with a comfortable viewing experience in strong light and dark light environments and avoid visual fatigue, the brightness can be adjusted in conjunction with the light sensing system.

3. High grayscale and better color performance

Even at low brightness, the grayscale performance of the display is almost perfect. 

The layering and vividness of the displayed picture are higher than those of traditional displays, and the image details can be displayed more without information loss.

4. High contrast, faster response speed, and high refresh rate

The number of times the electron beam repeatedly scans the image on the LED display screen, the higher the scan number, the higher the refresh rate, and the better the stability of the displayed image (picture). The lower the refresh rate, the more severe the image flickers and shakes, and the faster the eyes get tired. 

Under high refresh, the LED small-pitch screen captures stable images, has no ripple black screen, has clear image edges, and accurately restores the real information of the image.

5. Natural color restoration

Using the internationally leading point-by-point correction technology and the principle of LED light emission, the authenticity of the color is completely preserved, avoiding the color loss and deviation caused by other display technologies such as the material of backlight projection and the light running path, and achieving true color reproduction.

6. Three-dimensional visual experience

When customers choose to use the 3D playback mode, the LED display splicing wall will present shocking high-definition images. Whether it is live TV, exhibition display, or digital advertising, it can fully interpret the wonderful vision and let the audience enjoy an extraordinary visual experience.
