The more gray levels of the LED display, the smoother the color and image effect. The grayness is the so -called color order or gray level, which refers to the brightness and darkness of the brightness. For digital display technology, grayscale is the determined factor of displaying color numbers. Generally speaking, the higher the grayscale, the richer the color display, the more delicate the picture, and the easier to show rich details.

The gray level mainly depends on the number of A/D converting digits of the system. Of course, the video processing chip, memory, and transmission system of the system must provide support for the corresponding digits. At present, the domestic LED display mainly adopts 8 -bit processing system, that is, 256 (28) gray. The simple understanding is that there are 256 brightness changes from black to white. Using RGB three primary colors to form 256 × 256 × 256 = 16777216 colors. It is usually called 16 megabytes. The international brand display mainly uses 10 -bit processing systems, namely 1024 grayscale, and the RGB three primary colors can form 1.07 billion colors.

Although the gray degree is the decisive factor that determines the color number, it is not to say that the larger the unlimited limit, the better. The increase in the number of system processing bits will involve changes in various links such as system video processing, storage, transmission, and scanning. The cost increases, and the cost performance decreases. Generally speaking, civilian or commercial products can adopt 8 -bit systems, and radio -level products can use 10 systems.

At present, some manufacturers in China can reach 10 bits and 1024 gray control. The vision light has now realized the high -grade gray signal non -destructive treatment algorithm. Its gray depth is as high as 16bit to ensure that there is no loss in the gray detail details in the full brightness regulation range, and the image is bright.

LED screen grayscale, or grayscale level, refers to the color change level that can be presented by the LED display screen pixel from the brightest to the darkest. It mainly depends on the number of digital-to-analog conversion bits of the system. 

Common processing systems include 8-bit, 10-bit, 12-bit, and 14-bit, corresponding to 256-level, 1024-level, 4096-level, and 16384-level grayscales, respectively. 

The higher the grayscale level, the stronger the color expression of the display, the more delicate the picture, and the more natural the color transition. 

When choosing an LED display, grayscale level is an important consideration, especially for indoor full-color displays, high grayscale levels can bring a better visual experience.
