LED displays do contain silicone. Silicone plays an important role in the manufacturing process of LED displays.

First, silicone is used for potting and sealing of LED displays to protect the internal electronic components and circuits from external environmental influences such as moisture, dust and corrosion.

This potting silicone usually uses two-component silicone, which consists of two glues A and B (base glue and curing agent). After mixing, it has excellent adhesion, peel strength, dimensional stability and low shrinkage.

In addition, silicone is also widely used in PCB board protection of LED displays and other parts that need to be waterproof and moisture-proof due to its good temperature resistance, weather resistance and electrical insulation performance. Therefore, silicone is one of the indispensable key materials in the manufacture of LED displays.
