COG LED display screen refers to an LED display screen using COG (Chip on Glass) technology. COG technology is an LED display unit packaging technology that directly solidifies LED chips onto a glass substrate, and uses TFT drivers to achieve Micro LED display. Compared with traditional SMD and COB products, COG products have higher flatness, no risk of knocking off lights, longer service life, and can reduce power consumption by 20% at the same brightness.

In addition, because COG technology is based on glass substrate technology, using semiconductor, photolithography and advanced copper technology, ultra-fine TFT driving technology can be achieved on a large area, and if mass transfer technology is applied, the glass substrate is also more friendly. Therefore, COG technology is considered a "perfect match" for the continued advancement of Micro LED display technology.

In the application field of LED display screens, COG LED display screens also have a wide range of application prospects, including but not limited to advertising displays in commercial centers, shopping malls, airports and other public places, road condition information, vehicle traffic instructions, and traffic lights in the transportation field. and other displays, as well as information release, stage background, smart home, education and medical care, industrial control and other fields.

COG, or Chip on Glass, refers to directly solidifying the LED chip onto a glass substrate and then encapsulating it as a whole. The biggest difference from COB is that the carrier for fixing the chip is replaced by a PCB board instead of a glass substrate, and the point spacing can be less than P0.1. It is the most suitable technical route for Micro LED.
