The optimal viewing distance of a small-pitch LED screen depends on its pixel pitch (i.e., the distance between pixels). Generally speaking, the optimal viewing distance of small-pitch LED screens can be calculated by the following formula:

Best viewing distance = point spacing (mm) × 2000

For example, if the pixel pitch of a small-pitch LED screen is 2mm (i.e. P2 model), then its optimal viewing distance is 2mm × 2000 = 4000mm, which is about 4 meters.

In addition, some people believe that the optimal viewing distance of a small-pitch LED screen is twice the pixel pitch, that is, the optimal viewing distance = pixel pitch (mm) × 2. Taking the P2 model as an example, its optimal viewing distance is 2mm × 2 = 4 meters.

At the same time, the minimum viewing distance and maximum viewing distance of small-pitch LED screens can also be calculated through similar formulas. Minimum viewing distance = dot spacing (mm) × 1000, maximum viewing distance = dot spacing (mm) × 3000. Taking the P2 model as an example, the minimum viewing distance is 2mm × 1000 = 2000mm, which is about 2 meters; the maximum viewing distance is 2mm × 3000 = 6000mm, which is about 6 meters.

It should be noted that the above formula is only an estimation method, and the actual optimal viewing distance will also be affected by many factors such as screen brightness, resolution, viewing angle, etc. Therefore, when choosing a small-pitch LED screen, in addition to considering the point spacing, you also need to select the appropriate model and specifications based on the specific application scenarios and needs.
