The Nova receiving card series (such as the A8s, DH series, and MRV series) is a high-performance control solution designed specifically for LED displays. It supports high resolutions (e.g., 1024×768 pixels or 512×512 @ 60Hz per card), high refresh rates, and 18-bit pixel-by-pixel color correction.

It features multiple interfaces, including HDMI, DVI, and VGA, and dual-channel 10Gbps transmission capacity. It is compatible with single-color, dual-color, and full-color display modules, and integrates brightness uniformity adjustment, 3D functionality, seamless image switching, loop backup, and remote monitoring and maintenance technologies. Some models, such as the A8s, utilize an ARM Cortex-A9 core and 1GB of DDR3 memory, supporting intelligent gamma adjustment and low-brightness, high-grayscale display optimization.

They are EU RoHS and CE-EMC certified and are widely used in outdoor advertising screens, stadiums, stage backdrops, and fine-pitch display projects. Their high stability, anti-interference capabilities, and scalability for multi-screen splicing meet the needs of complex scenarios. Some products offer configuration parameter readback, temperature and voltage detection, and direct Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, ensuring smooth and detailed display effects and efficient operation and maintenance.

Common Nova receiving card faults and solutions are as follows:

Indicator light abnormality: If the green light is off or remains on, this may be due to a program error or improper operation. Try disconnecting the power cord and using tweezers to short-circuit the two corners and three corners of the receiving card's tooling port (or the one and two corners of the flash chip) to put the receiving card into backup mode. Then, use the NovaLCT software to upgrade to the latest software.

No video source input: If the green light flashes three times at 0.5-second intervals, check the video source connection for stability or try replacing the video cable.

Network cable connection problem: If the green light flashes once every 3 seconds, the network cable is abnormal. Check the cable for damage or oxidation of the RJ45 connector, or replace the cable and try again.

Program load failure: If the green light flashes once at 0.2-second intervals, the application program failed to load. Reload the matching program package using the NovaLCT software and ensure that the resolutions of the sending card, graphics card, and monitor are consistent.

Display abnormality: If the screen is distorted or has color differences, this may indicate an inconsistency in the receiving card's program version or insufficient load capacity. The receiving card program version needs to be unified, or the loading parameters need to be adjusted.

When a Nova receiving card fails, you can first observe the indicator light status (if the green light is off or always on, it may be a program abnormality. You need to power off and short-circuit the tooling port to restore the backup program and upgrade it). Check whether the network cable connection and video source device are normal. If the screen is distorted or the color is different, it may be a program version inconsistency or insufficient load. You need to upgrade to the latest version.

If the above steps cannot solve the problem, it is recommended to contact Nova official technical support to provide the specific fault phenomenon (such as indicator light status, error code, screen display abnormality details) and receiving card model, so as to quickly locate hardware damage or configuration problems and obtain targeted repair solutions.
