With the continuous advancement of information technology and the application of networking, digitalization, and intelligence, LCD screens, LED displays, and DLP large screens are widely used in commercial buildings, educational institutions, government agencies, enterprises, financial institutions, hospitals, security systems, and other fields. However, many people are not very familiar with these types of screens. Below, Jingxin Technology will introduce these three types of screens.

I. Product Overview

1. LCD Video Walls: LCD video walls can be used individually as displays or combined into ultra-large screens. Depending on different usage needs, they offer versatile large-screen functionality, allowing for both single-screen split display, single-screen individual display, arbitrary combination display, full-screen LCD splicing, dual-slot LCD splicing, vertical screen display, optional image border compensation or masking, support for digital signal roaming, scaling and stretching, cross-screen display, setting and running of various display presets, and real-time processing of full HD signals.

2. LED Displays: LED displays are a new type of imaging electronic device made by arranging light-emitting diodes in sequence. Due to their high brightness, wide viewing angle, and long lifespan, they are widely used in outdoor advertising screens and other products. 3. DLP stands for "Digital Light Processing," meaning that this technology digitally processes the image signal before projecting the light. Achieving a truly seamless DLP large screen requires advanced technology, and most screens on the market currently use DLP rear projection technology. A DLP large screen refers to a single, ultra-large screen, not several smaller screens pieced together, so there are no gaps or physical seams. It features seamlessness, customizable size, a unified image, and ultra-high definition.

II. Display Screen Classification

1. LCD Video Wall

1) Samsung LCD Video Wall

2) LG LCD Video Wall

3) BOE LCD Video Wall

2. LED Display Screen

1) By usage environment: Indoor, Outdoor, and Semi-outdoor

2) By color: Monochrome, Dual-color, and Tri-color (Full-color)

Monochrome refers to a display screen using only one color of light-emitting material, mostly red. Yellow-green can also be used in some special occasions (e.g., funeral homes).

Dual-color LED displays consist of red and green LEDs. A 256-level grayscale dual-color display screen can display 65,536 colors (a dual-color screen can display red, green, and yellow).

A full-color LED display screen consists of red, green, and blue LEDs, capable of displaying white balance and 16,777,216 colors.

3. DLP Large Screens

1) Glass Composite Screen

High gain, no bulging or deformation, narrow vertical viewing angle, poor resistance to ambient light.

2) Resin Screen

Wide viewing angle, good uniformity, strong resistance to ambient light, small seams, low gain, easily affected by ambient temperature and humidity.

III. Screen Features

1. LCD Splicing Screen:

High brightness, high reliability, ultra-narrow bezel design, uniform brightness, stable and flicker-free images, and long service life.

2. LED Screen:

1) Outdoor LED displays have a brightness greater than 8000 mcd/㎡, making them the only large-scale display terminals capable of all-weather outdoor use; indoor LED displays have a brightness greater than 2000 mcd/㎡.

2) LED lifespan exceeds 100,000 hours (ten years). This parameter generally refers to the design lifespan, and dimming is also considered.

3) Indoor viewing angle is greater than 160 degrees, and outdoor viewing angle is greater than 120 degrees. The viewing angle depends on the shape of the LED.

4) Screen area can vary greatly, from less than one square meter to hundreds or thousands of square meters.

5) Equipped with waterproof modules, providing moisture-proof, corrosion-proof, and oxidation-proof functions.

3. DLP Large Screen

1) Glass composite screens are not easily deformed, but the viewing angle is not perfect, with a narrow vertical viewing angle and a tendency to reflect light. They are suitable for small to medium-sized systems with high brightness requirements.

2) Resin screens are anti-reflective, provide a delicate picture, and have a wide viewing angle, but are easily deformed by external factors. They are mostly suitable for large systems and situations with high viewing requirements.
