Flexible LED displays are called "soft modules." Both the PCB and base shell of soft modules are made of flexible materials, with a deep V-shaped silicone base shell design that makes the unit board more flexible and supports wide-angle displays.
However, don't be fooled by the fact that soft modules are made of flexible materials; they are actually "flexible on the outside but strong on the inside." Their flexible bodies easily create cylindrical, wave-shaped, and ribbon-like screens, and their shapes are compatible with other types of modules, giving more possibilities for creative realization. At the same time, they are tough and durable, with high pressure resistance and bending ability.
Compared to conventional modules, besides being flexible and versatile in shape, what other features make soft modules special?
① Soft modules reduce weight, making the screen smaller and lighter. The unit board is only 7.5mm thick, reducing weight without compromising quality. The screen remains sturdy, durable, and has a long lifespan, eliminating concerns about quality issues.
② Soft modules use magnetic stickers instead of screws for installation, making it more convenient. The soft module base shell is fixed to the PCB using 3M adhesive bonding and comes standard with a strong magnet, ensuring a secure attachment. Installation can be completed with just a gentle pull and press.
